When deciding to buy a Projector...
Nowadays, cinema projectors are making inroads into homes and for good reasons too.
As most of us deliberate whether it is a good decision to install a projector for home cinema, here are the pros and cons to be considered before going for a projector..
1. Big Wide Silver Screen Impact - The most obvious reason remains that only a projector can provide the most immersive entertainment ever. It is definitely more absorbing to watch a 100 inch image compared to 40 or even a 65 inch normally afforded by LED TVs. Every detail is astonishingly apparent when the screen fills your entire field of view.
2. Easier on the eyes - It is no denying that watching a reflected light on a screen made of fabric is more relaxing to watch than staring into the direct light source of televisions. There are none of the usual symptoms of fatigue, tired eyes syndromes usually associated with television image.
3. No glare of light associated with the reflective surfaces of television.
4. Cost factor - When comparing the ratio of cost per sq inch image, the projector turns out a clear winner than a television. While it would cost a bomb to invest into a TV of 100 inch screen size, a most affordable projector is meant to give that image size naturally. Yet we want to watch on bigger and bigger displays, for which only a projector can come to the rescue.
Now while the benefits are far too numerous, one main hindrance when setting up the projector is consideration to darken the room or keep the light source away from the screen. Achieving this can be somewhat of a challenge for many, and perhaps it is for this reason alone, that we compromise on the image size and end up getting just a TV for our movie viewing pleasure. But if this limitation can be worked around with, a projector can make your every night into a blockbuster and whether you are watching your favorite flix or enjoying sports, you are bound to get hooked on to the bigger sized images provided from the projector alone.
We, at Auditro, deal mainly into two brands of projectors - Sony and Optoma and we even got the Sony 4K model on display.
